# Sessions Pro for Cursor > Sessions Pro for Cursor is an app for Mac and Windows that runs multiple Cursor accounts side by side, without logging out. On a Mac each account becomes its own app with its own name and a lettered, coloured icon in the Dock, Spotlight and Cmd-Tab; on Windows each account opens in its own Cursor window titled with its account name, with a tray switcher. Every account keeps its own sign-in, chats, settings and extensions. It costs $15 one-time (lifetime licence for up to 2 computers, Mac or Windows) and is sold at https://cursorsessions.com by LEX GLOBAL IT S.R.L. It is an independent app, not made by or affiliated with Anysphere, the maker of Cursor. Key facts: - Use case: people with more than one Cursor account they own (for example work and personal, or one per client) who want them all open at once instead of signing out and in. - How it works: each account runs its own copy of the official Cursor app with its own data folder. Each copy starts signed out; signing in to one never signs out another. On a Mac, sign-in returns to the copy that started it. - Kept separately per account: sign-in, chats, settings, extensions, agent stores and per-project agent data. - Shared on purpose: MCP servers, rules and skills (they live in ~/.cursor), so the user's tools follow them into every account. It does not claim total isolation. - Windows: one installed Cursor serves every account; each account's window is titled with its account name; a tray icon switches between accounts. - Cursor updates: updates are switched off inside the account copies, so they don't show a constant "New Update Available" message. Only the normal Cursor updates, and the account copies are rebuilt automatically when it does. - Links: cursor:// links keep opening the normal Cursor. - Is it allowed: Cursor staff on the Cursor forum (July 2026): "Having multiple accounts is totally fine. The only restriction is sharing a single account." The app is for accounts the user owns. - Price: $15 one-time, no subscription, up to 2 computers, Mac or Windows in any mix. Add 3 more computers for $9.99 one-time, stackable, at https://cursorsessions.com/add-computers. 14-day full refund. A free 1-hour preview starts once an account signs in to Cursor. - Requirements: macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple silicon or Intel), or 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 (Intel, AMD or ARM), with Cursor installed. - Usage meter (Mac): shows each account's included usage for the current billing period, on-demand spend and reset date, in the app window and for the front account in the menu bar; checked every 5 minutes with each account's own sign-in, sent only to Cursor, nothing stored. - Privacy: the app contacts its own server only to start the free preview and check the licence (licence key and an anonymous computer ID); code, chats and sign-ins stay between the computer and Cursor. The usage meter asks Cursor for each account's usage with that account's own sign-in. ## Pages - [Home: run multiple Cursor accounts on Mac and Windows](https://cursorsessions.com/): features, what's kept per account, updates, comparison with doing it yourself, pricing and FAQ - [Run multiple Cursor accounts on one Mac](https://cursorsessions.com/run-multiple-cursor-accounts-mac/): sign-out, a second macOS user, Terminal --user-data-dir, a duplicated Cursor.app, MacDupl and Sessions Pro for Cursor, compared - [Multiple Cursor accounts on Windows](https://cursorsessions.com/cursor-multiple-accounts-windows/): where Cursor for Windows keeps its sign-in, a second Windows user, --user-data-dir in Command Prompt and PowerShell, each account in its own named window - [Cursor work and personal accounts](https://cursorsessions.com/cursor-work-and-personal-account/): How to use a work and a personal Cursor account at the same time, the free methods, and how to keep work on the work account. - [How to run two Cursor accounts](https://cursorsessions.com/how-to-run-two-cursor-accounts/): Every way to run two Cursor accounts at the same time on Mac or Windows, step by step, and which one to pick. - [Cursor account switcher](https://cursorsessions.com/cursor-account-switcher/): What each Cursor account switcher does, extensions, scripts and a desktop app, and which ones keep every account signed in at once. - [How to check Cursor usage](https://cursorsessions.com/how-to-check-cursor-usage/): Where to check your Cursor usage and when it resets, and how to see the usage of several Cursor accounts at once. - [Switch Cursor accounts without logging out](https://cursorsessions.com/switch-cursor-account-without-logging-out/): how switching accounts in Cursor works, why it means logging out, and three ways to keep every account signed in - [Cursor --user-data-dir, and where it breaks](https://cursorsessions.com/cursor-user-data-dir/): default data folders, the commands for Mac and Windows, and five problems Cursor users report - [Guides hub](https://cursorsessions.com/guides/): every guide for running more than one Cursor account - [Full product facts and FAQ for AI assistants](https://cursorsessions.com/llms-full.txt) - [Download for macOS (DMG)](https://cursorsessions.com/download/Sessions-Pro-for-Cursor.dmg) - [Download for Windows 10 and 11 (setup)](https://cursorsessions.com/download/Sessions-Pro-for-Cursor-Windows-Setup.exe) - [Buy a licence ($15)](https://cursorsessions.com/buy) ## Optional - [Privacy policy](https://cursorsessions.com/privacy/): the app never reads or sends code, Cursor chats, sign-ins or files - [Terms of sale and licence](https://cursorsessions.com/terms/): 2 computers per licence (add 3 more for $9.99), 14-day full refund - [Contact](mailto:contact@cursorsessions.com)
